Motor preparation is extremely important in football. The Performance analysis greater number of sprints, passes and attacks with the ball mean that players do more and more work on the field. The Sonda Sports system will allow you to measure it, draw the right conclusions and prepare your team for the season.

Measure what matters

Performance monitoring

Our devices (GPS vests, sports trackers and heart rate monitors) allow you to precisely measure the most important physical parameters, such as total distance, heart rate and speed thresholds, sprints, metabolic power or Player Load.

Professional analysis

Use the computing power of the cloud and analyze key data on a professional analytical platform. Track 100+ metrics and 30 key stats, compare players, manage your team and plan training sessions.

Safety and comfort

You don't need to install any software to use our system. You log in to the application via our website and gain constant access to data thanks to the internet cloud. All you need is a laptop or any mobile device and WiFi.

Key performance parameters in football

The Sonda Sports system allows you to monitor such important parameters in football as distance, heart rate and speed thresholds, sprints, accelerations and decelerations, Player Load, maximum speed and many others. Thanks to the analysis of these data, you will be able to determine the potential and physical abilities of players, shape their motor features, plan training microcycles, choose the optimal loads and track their current condition. Players comparison and team statistics will help you to compile your squad, manage fatigue and reduce the risk of injuries resulting from overtraining or undertraining.

Player Load

Player Load is an external load indicator obtained with a tri-axis accelerometer. This parameter informs how much work the player has done during training session or a match. For calculations, it collects data from speed, acceleration, changes in direction and collisions.

Speed Zones

Speed zones provide us with more detailed and accurate analysis. They show how many times and how many meters the player has spent in each interval. Speed zones can be individual or for a team.

Acute to Chronic Workload Ratio for a Team

Shows the correlation between acute and chronic load. ACWR allows you to control and keep the player in the zone of high load and low risk of injury.

How do GPS vests help in training players?

Thanks to the GPS trackers and sports vests we can monitor the most important physical parameters of players. “Number of accelerations, sprints and distance covered are essential and useful indicators for us coaches. We also pay attention to the overall player’s work - what is his recovery speed after explosive activities or what are his heart ranges after a short break?” explains Radoslaw Osadnik, Górnik Zabrze U18 coach.

Data from GPS monitoring often affect the shape of training, allow you to adjust the load to the players' abilities and facilitate their development. “The most important thing for us is whether the player has given his best during the game. We compare the data with the first team, with other European academies. On this basis, we set goals for the players to achieve” adds Jacek Piegza, Motor Preparation Coach at KGHM Zagłębie Football Academy.

At an early stage of training, GPS allows you to determine the potential and physical abilities. At a higher level, it helps in profiling players and shaping appropriate motor features. “We analyze both the basic stats, such as the distance covered, as well as more advanced, such as training accumulation and effort of the player” says Marcin Wróbel, director of the Lech Poznań Academy. “We try to refer to the players from all around the world, different clubs and the data we have. This gives us a reference point, so we know if we are in a good place or not”.
